The CLD Shawinigan (economic development corporation) is a portal to entrepreneurship, providing core support services to local businesses. In addition to its own funds, the CLD also manages other funds specifically geared towards entrepreneurs and developers.

Fondation canadienne des jeunes entrepreneurs (FCJE) (Young Entrepreneur Foundation of Canada)
The FCJE is a charitable organization that provides pre-startup support, business resources, financing to start a business, and mentoring. The program is geared towards young individuals between the ages of 18-34 who intend to start their own business.
