The CLD Shawinigan (economic development corporation) is committed to helping self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs bring their projects to life.

With programs such as the Mesure de soutien au travail autonome (STA) (Self-Employment Support Measure) and the Fonds Jeunes entrepreneurs (Young Entrepreneurs Fund), to name but a few, the CLD has the resources required to help entrepreneurs with their financing package.

 

CLD professionals are specially trained to guide entrepreneurs in the steps to be taken to start up a business, such as drawing up a business plan, preparing market studies, finding a suitable site or building, and networking with other businesses.
